Finding jobs that best suit the interests and skill set is quite a challenging task for job seekers. Equally, finding the right candidates with desired qualifications/skills to fill job openings is a tedious task for recruiters. In addition, institutions are also faced with other challenges such as updating learning curriculums with the right content that meet the expectations of the current and future job markets. These difficulties arise from not having proper knowledge of the organizations’ objective, their work culture, and current job openings as well as knowing the skills of candidates upfront. Also, lack of feedbacks, manual processing, untracked application history are a few other causes of the said difficulties. Online Job Search Portals have certainly made job seeking convenient on both sides over the years. Job Portal is the solution where the recruiters, as well as the job seekers meet, aiming at fulfilling their individual requirements. They are the cheapest as well as the fastest source of communication reaching a wide range of audience with just a single click irrespective of their geographical distance. In this project, a new online job portal called Career-BN is proposed. This portal is powered by Artificial Intelligence which aims to provide an easy and convenient system for job seekers to find their desired jobs and for recruiters to find the right candidates. Skill gaps can automatically be identified by jobseekers as well as intuitions of learning. Job seekers from any background can view matching job openings and filter/rank them by most suitable, nearest, most paying, etc. The system can intelligently recommend jobs/candidates based on user requirements and interests. Employers can post their current openings and view job applicants for screening, interviews, and offers. Reviews, feedbacks, and interview experiences about an organization can be provided and shared with other potential candidates. It’s hoped that, CareerBN will address the current challenges related to careers at all levels of life.
